At Prints By Nature I am proud to say all of the textiles are sustainably sourced from GOTS Certified organic farms in Turkey and India, focusing on the development of surrounding land and support the families in line with fair trade policies.
The Maker Behind The Brand
Prints By Nature is the organic homeware and accessories label of textile designer, printer and natural dyer Zoe Evans. Based in Cardiff, South Wales, her sole aim is to produce sustainable and affordable products that have minimal impact on the environment; utilising a variety of traditional and modern printing/dying methods such as solar printing, screen printing, shibori and katazome with locally foraged/grown dyes as well as sustainably sourced indigo. Prints By Nature makes an assortment of products that encourage an eco-friendly lifestyle whilst expressing a little creative character.
Exploring natural pigments beyond textiles:
Alongside working on her textile based collections and commissions Zoe has begun experimenting with various other natural pigment applications to help encourage other sustainably minded creatives to produce more eco-conscious outcomes.
Currently she is exploring watercolours, oil paints, relief printing as well as future projects to experiment with the use of locally sourced wild clays and glazes for ceramics.
